Mission Statement

Jeopardizing Justice is a coalition of legal and technology professionals committed to protecting the integrity of verbatim court transcripts and associated legal records.  We seek to raise awareness among the bench, bar, litigants, public interest groups, and the media by highlighting the risks associated with AI and ASR in the capture, transcription, and certification of verbatim records.  Through a network of resources, including speakers, focus groups, podcasts, studies, and discussions, we work collaboratively to develop and promote best practices to safeguard the accuracy of legal records, ensuring justice and accountability for all who work in or must navigate within the legal system.
