Join the founding members of Jeopardizing Justice for a deep dive into Artificial Intelligence and how its use is affecting the legal industry. With state and national legislation pending across the country, this interactive session will provide the foundational knowledge you need to be effective in educating your client base and legislators on the dangers AI technology poses to the accuracy of our legal records and the privacy and security rights of all citizens who participate in legal proceedings. You will be armed with information to combat the overstated promises and puffery utilized by the growing number of companies that seek to replace the most qualified Humans in the Loop (HITL) with gig workers across the globe and the ethical and legal considerations that many attorneys don’t take into consideration when they allow its use in their court cases. This half-day course is designed to answer questions you may have, with breakout sessions designed to practice and fine-tune your elevator pitch with clients and lawmakers in your state.

Cost: Free. Jeopardizing Justice asks that you consider making a voluntary donation to help defray setup and operational costs of future endeavors.
Donations are being made through our symposium host, TEXDRA (Texas
Deposition Reporters Association) whivh is handling registration for this event.
This AI event is a one-time opportunity that won't be repeated. The members of Jeopardizing Justice (formerly the NCRA Strong Committee) have been educating court reporters for the past five years, and it is our goal to take our message to decision-makers. To that end, we want to focus our advocacy outward, instead of continuing to focus inward.
Attendance will be limited to the first 500 attendees. State association board members and their designees will be given priority to attend. Since it is our goal to train our allies, not our opposition, all participants must be approved by Jeopardizing Justice.
